  • Room Management: Process group arrivals and departures, take, cancel, and change room reservations.
  • Front Desk Operations: Balance cash, complete balance sheets, and maintain an inventory of vacancies, reservations, and room assignments.
  • Communication: Answer telephone calls, relay messages, and provide customer service.
  • Technology: Utilize multi-line switchboard, word processing software, and central reservation system (CRS).
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Experience an asset.
  • Skills: Attention to detail, fast-paced environment, standing for extended periods, work under pressure, client focus, dependability, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral and written communication, flexibility, organized, reliability, and team player.
Work Environment:

The Front Desk Hotel Clerk will work in a fast-paced hotel environment, interacting with guests, colleagues, and management.
