Front Desk Hotel Representative

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Front Desk Hotel Clerk to join our team at River View Hotel.
Job SummaryThe Front Desk Hotel Clerk will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our guests, handling room reservations, and maintaining accurate records.
Key Responsibilities- Guest Services: Register arriving guests, assign rooms, and resolve complaints and claims in a professional and courteous manner.
- Room Management: Process group arrivals and departures, take, cancel, and change room reservations, and maintain an inventory of vacancies, reservations, and room assignments.
- Clerical Duties: Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, answer telephone and relay telephone calls and messages, and perform other clerical tasks as needed.
- Computer and Technology: Utilize word processing software, computerized bookkeeping systems, and spreadsheets to manage guest information and hotel operations.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a hotel or hospitality setting.
- Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and proficiency in computer software and technology.
The Front Desk Hotel Clerk will work in a dynamic and fast-paced hotel environment, interacting with guests, staff, and management on a regular basis.
