AECOM is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead our Canadian Signals & Communications team in delivering a portfolio of projects. The successful candidate will have experience in project management, rail signals, and communications, with a strong understanding of project scope, schedule, budget, quality, safety, and change management.



Responsibilities
  • Lead project pursuits and prepare proposals.
  • Plan and manage each stage of a project to ensure that all contractual commitments are met on time and within budget.
  • Identify the necessary resources required for the execution of Signals and Communications projects.
  • Develop project scope, identify deliverables, and prepare work plans, schedules, and budgets for all project stages.
  • Manage scope, schedule, budget, quality, safety, and change management.
  • Lead project controls staff and project coordinators.
  • Maintain a good understanding of the project scope to identify scope creep and initiate the change management process.
  • Ensure timely internal and external communication throughout all project phases.
  • Comply with the AECOM Quality Management System methodology.
  • Participate in monthly project reviews.
  • Ensure that all project close-out documents are submitted upon completion of the project.
  • Act as a mentor to junior project management and controls professionals.
  • Enroll and obtain the MAP (Managing AECOM Projects) Certification.


Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant engineering discipline + 6 years of relevant experience in project management in rail for signals OR Technical Diploma + 8 years of experience in project management in rail and/or signals.
  • Driver's License.
