About the Role:


Foilon is seeking a Lead Business Analyst and Solutions Developer to join our team in Toronto. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for analyzing business needs, developing solutions, and leading cross-functional teams.


Job Description:


  • We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst with a strong background in system development life cycles (SDLC) and structured methodologies. You should have demonstrable experience with Business Object Oriented Modeling, UML tools, and techniques.
  • The ideal candidate will have significant experience designing online user experiences for complex digital solutions. You will also be proficient with industry-standard design tools such as Photoshop, Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Balsamiq, and InVision.
  • Mainframe experience is essential, as well as skills and experience in reverse engineering of Cobol source codes and documenting interface guides and XML.

Responsibilities:


  • Analyze business needs and develop solutions that meet those needs.
  • Lead cross-functional teams in the development and implementation of new systems and processes.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and internal teams.

Requirements:


  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a Business Analyst role with a strong background in SDLC and structured methodologies.
  • Demonstrable experience with Business Object Oriented Modeling, UML tools, and techniques.
