We are seeking a talented Corporate Real Estate Welcome Desk Host to join our team As a key member of our CRE organization, you will be responsible for providing outstanding customer service, creating a positive first impression, and ensuring our office is a warm and inviting space for all visitors and employees.

Responsibilities:

Welcome Desk
  • Act as the face of Equinix, creating a positive atmosphere at the office front desk.
  • Greet visitors and employees, engaging in conversation and catering to their needs.
  • Anticipate and fulfill guests' requirements, striving to exceed their expectations.
  • Answer questions related to the building, including wayfinding, policies, and procedures.
  • Coordinate visitor check-ins and security procedures using our visitor management system.
  • Notify employee hosts of guest arrivals and manage visitor logs.
  • Maintain office security awareness and communicate concerns to the local CRE metro lead and risk management team.
  • Keep the lobby organized and presentable, moving deliveries or broken items out of sight.
Events and Employee Engagement
  • Build a welcoming community environment through events and activities.
  • Cultivate a positive atmosphere through fun and engaging activities at the front desk.
  • Plan and support event coordination, promotion, setup, and clearing.
  • Assist with meeting room scheduling and arrangements.
  • Partner with internal teams to create inclusive events.
Office Communications
  • Develop and share communications for office events and information using various tools.
  • Ensure timely and professional communication with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Act as a liaison between employees and departments, addressing workplace-related concerns.
Building Operations
  • Assist with receiving deliveries and supporting employees with mail and shipping needs.
  • Provide direction and information to vendors and staff as required.
  • Support employees with business card ordering and office ticketing system.

  • Customer service or hospitality experience.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
