Job Id: 1572 # of Openings: 0 Intern Analyst, Real Estate Crestpoint Real Estate Investments Ltd.  Toronto, ON Fall 2024 The Position CC&L Financial Group is seeking an Intern Analyst, Real Estate to join our Crestpoint Real Estate Investments Ltd. team for a 4-month term (September - December 2024). You will have the ability to work closely with asset management and investment professionals and gain hands-on experience in all aspects of the asset management process. As an Intern Analyst you will: Provide assistance and support to both the Investments and Asset Management teams. Assist in the preparation of property valuations and the calculation of investment returns, as well as assist with external client and internal property and Fund reporting requirements.  Provide general asset management support including the financial analysis of potential leases, cash flow projections, redevelopment projects and financing alternatives as well as other portfolio management analysis.  Assist with the underwriting, due diligence and overall process of completing new acquisitions and dispositions including the preparation of Investment Committee and client reports. Gather and evaluate economic and market data. Participate in ad hoc projects and special assignments at the broader corporate level as needed.  Provide support to Crestpoint ESG initiatives. Qualifications and Experience The Intern Analyst position is geared toward students either in their third/fourth year of an undergraduate degree or MBA with a focus on Real Estate, Commerce, or Finance. We are seeking ambitious students with a strong academic track record, who are interested in making an impact in learning and. In addition to the above, the successful candidate will have: At least one completed internship/co-op work experience in a similar role. Strong computer skills with advanced knowledge of MS Excel; familiarity with ARGUS real estate software an asset. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Excellent financial and analytical skills. Exceptional attention to detail. Proven ability to think logically and problem solve effectively. Demonstrated ability to work efficiently under pressure; dealing with changes and interruptions while maintaining strict deadlines. Proven self-starter with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Interest in real estate and/or real estate related fields.
