About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Compliance Officer to join our team in Thornhill, ON. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring Galderma Canada's compliance with global and local laws and regulations.

About You:

To be considered for this role, you will have a minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in private practice and/or in-house setting. You must possess strong knowledge of laws and regulations applicable to prescription drugs and devices as well as OTC drugs, NHPs, and cosmetics.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure Compliance: Ensure Galderma Canada complies with global standards, local laws, and regulations.
  • HCP Engagement: Support review, approval, and documentation for local HCP engagement and cross-border activities.
  • Conflict of Interest (COI): Conduct regular training sessions to educate employees on COI policies.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Keep abreast of regulatory changes and maintain documentation related to compliance activities.
  • Risk Management: Conduct regular risk assessments and develop strategies to mitigate identified risks.
  • Training and Education: Develop and deliver training programs to promote a culture of compliance and ethical behavior.
  • Monitoring and Enforcement: Monitor implementation of compliance policies and investigate any potential breaches.
  • Privacy Compliance: Implement robust data protection measures and ensure employee training.
  • Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Work with various departments to ensure a cohesive approach to compliance.

Compensation Package: The salary range for this position is estimated to be between $120,000 and $160,000 per annum, depending on experience. This is a competitive package that includes a comprehensive benefits program and opportunities for growth and development.
