Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Senior Safety and Compliance Officer to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will lead our efforts in ensuring the highest standards of safety and regulatory compliance within our fleet operations.
Key Responsibilities:- Monitor and analyze safety performance data to identify high-risk trends and develop proactive strategies to mitigate risks and enhance compliance.
- Enforce federal and provincial regulations, driving the implementation of effective safety initiatives and overseeing comprehensive driver training programs.
- Provide expert guidance on safety protocols and regulatory issues, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Conduct daily spot checks on driver Pre-Trip Inspections (PTIs) and report findings to drivers and management.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in Driver Management.
- At least 3 years of experience in Safety Compliance.
- Strong knowledge of transportation regulations and safety best practices.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
