Hines Health Services Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join their Disability Management Team as a Medical Coordinator.

About the Role

This is a full-time position with an estimated salary of $33-$43 per hour, working 40 hours a week, Monday to Friday, in an 8-hour shift.

As a Medical Coordinator, you will be responsible for assigning intakes to the Case Management team, securely uploading and managing confidential medical information, and submitting and coding invoices with accuracy.

You will also provide support for various Case Management tasks and responsibilities, contributing to the seamless operation of the team. To succeed in this role, you must have exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in acute care or a hospital setting, managing both complex and routine medical issues. Experience in occupational health is considered an asset for this role.

Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills are essential for this role. You must be able to analyze complex situations, make sound decisions under pressure, and develop effective solutions to a wide range of challenges.

In addition to your technical skills, you will need to possess excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills to effectively interact and collaborate with individuals across various corporate roles.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Valid CLPNA Registration
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as an LPN
  • Ability to efficiently handle large workloads while maintaining attention to details
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records
  • Ability to learn and adapt to new computer programs efficiently
