Organizational Development Director

Job Summary
The Strategic Talent Management Specialist will lead the development and implementation of future company leaders through the effective completion of talent reviews, succession plans, and thoughtful plan analysis. This role will oversee the goal of establishing the human capital of the organization as a critical component in accomplishing business goals. The ideal candidate will have experience in Organizational Development and be familiar with a variety of field concepts, practices, and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess the strategic opportunities or risks presented by human capital, including competitive advantages or gaps, company policies and practices, the global/regional environment, and more.
- Lead the development of future company leaders through talent reviews, succession plans, and thoughtful plan analysis.
- Implement and oversee learning and development curriculum and related initiatives, such as performance review, goal setting, development plans, 360's, and management processes.
- Plan and execute company-wide Performance Management cycles.
- Identify and monitor the organization's culture to support the attainment of company goals and promote employee satisfaction.
- Lead Employee Engagement Surveys, communicate results, and integrate them into action planning throughout the organization.
- Involvement in company-wide committees, including wellness, training, environmental health and safety, and culture and communications.
- Facilitate workshops and provide vendor management of external facilitators and managed service providers, in partnership with the Learning Solutions team.
- Partner with HR Generalists and Learning Solutions Team to facilitate coaching, mentoring, change management, lunch and learns, manager workshops, team building, and cross-cultural collaboration.
- Develop marketing and communication methods to educate employees on learning programs and resources.
- Provide strategic leadership by planning, coaching, and offering facilitation and consultation services to teams and individuals in designing and implementing strategies for solving complex organizational challenges.
- Use Organizational Development methods, procedures, and tools to implement solutions and continuously improve strategies, structures, and systems for Fix Network.
- In partnership with the Learning Solutions team, accurately represent management directives and employee needs by designing, developing, delivering, and continuously evaluating plans.
- Improve organizational capability by developing organizational assessment mechanisms, interpreting results, developing recommendations, interventions, and action plans.
- Design, direct, and manage a company-wide process of organization development that addresses issues such as succession planning, superior workforce development, key employee retention, organization design, and change management.
- Set the strategic, organization-wide direction for and ensure implementation of organizational development initiatives and other business initiatives as requested.
- Work directly with HR leaders to design, develop, and implement corporate leadership development and learning programs, succession planning, and other human capital processes as identified by the HR Leadership team.
- Work closely with senior leaders and business unit managers to develop a series of exemplary leadership skills, abilities, and experiences to enable candidates to be promoted into key leadership positions.
- Identify, develop, and implement programs to prepare successor candidates, such as formal training, job rotation, and one-on-one developmental coaching programs.
- Manage employee communication and feedback through company meetings, suggestion programs, employee satisfaction surveys, newsletters, employee focus groups, one-on-one meetings, and Intranet use.
- Direct a process of organizational planning that evaluates company structure, job design, and personnel forecasting throughout the company.
- Work with the Learning Solution Team to oversee DEI and Accessibility committees and execution of related initiatives.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Organizational Development, Human Resources, Instructional Relations, or a related field and at least 5 years of experience in the Organizational Development or Learning field. A minimum of 5 years of managing or directly supporting a progressive and comprehensive talent management and succession planning program is also required.
Language Requirements
English is required, with French being an asset.
Skills and Abilities
The ideal candidate will have a strong emphasis on practical solutions, a proven track record of successful implementation of programs, and outstanding project management and computer skills. Experience in a large, complex global organization is also required.
Work Conditions
- Approximately 10 to 25% travel required.
- Ability to attend and conduct presentations.
