Key Responsibilities- Provide professional nursing services to patients with complex and unpredictable health needs, including independent nursing services and administration of prescribed medical treatments.
- Take a leadership role within the healthcare team, coordinating patient care and discharge to ensure seamless transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
- Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans, addressing the unique needs and goals of each patient.
- Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with best practices and advancements in the field of nursing.
- Graduate of an approved Registered Nursing education program.
- Current CRNM registration.
- Active participation in professional associations, such as the Association of Registered Nurses of Manitoba (ARNM), is preferred.
- Annual BLS Level C Registration/Re-Registration is required.
- Successful completion of the Advanced Assessment Course, as scheduled by the employer or mutually agreed upon between the nurse and employer.
- Scope of practice as documented in the Regulated Health Professions Act (RHPA).
- Experience in acute Cardiology or Cardiac Surgery and/or acute Medical/Surgical and/or Emergency Nursing.
