As an Electrical Motion Product Manager at ABB, you will play a crucial role in maximizing performance, uptime, and energy efficiency throughout the lifetime of electrical motion solutions.

This is an exceptional opportunity to lead cross-functional teams, including R&D, engineering, marketing, and sales, to drive product development and launch initiatives.

With a strong understanding of motion control products, such as motors, drives, and power electronics, as well as their service requirements and business models, you will be able to interpret technical documentation, analyze customer needs, and translate them into service-oriented product offerings.

In this role, you will have the chance to:

  • Lead market intelligence analysis and identify potential gaps in the portfolio, respecting competition and new market opportunities
  • Owning technical and market specification for the offer and determining an offering business plan that supports sustainable growth while leading customer need and value analysis
  • Setting targets, monitoring offering costs, and giving inputs to operations functions (e.g., Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Production) to maximize competitiveness and profitability

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in product management, ideally within industrial automation, motion control, or a similar technical field
  • Strong business development skills with the ability to identify growth opportunities within the motion service market
