**The role we are offering you**:

- Frequent opportunities to work on the flight simulators directly. (Even to fly)
- Analysis, design and integration of flight simulator sound and motion simulation models.
- Frequency analysis of measured sounds and vibrations.
- Design and implementation real-time simulation models for reproducing the various aircraft sound and vibration effects.
- Subjective tuning of the sound and vibration effects with test pilots.
- Direct interaction with the customer both at CAE and at the customer's site, internationally.
- Preparation of flight plans for recordings in real aircrafts.
- Periodic shift work and international travel (around 10% to 15% travel per year).
- Bachelors or master's in software, computer, electrical, mechanical, physics engineering, or similar domains.
- Proficient in C/C++ programming in a Windows environment.
- Knowledge in the following areas is considered an asset: real-time programming, acoustic theory, digital signal processing (DSP), digital signal analysis (sampling theory, Fourier transform), vibrations and general digital audio technology.
- Excellent organization and time management skills in order to manage many projects in parallel.
- Good communication, spirit and teamwork skills.
- Bilingual is an important asset.
- Available to perform shift work and international travel from time to time.
- **_ CAE employees must be able to meet the requirements of the Canada Controlled Goods Program (CGP), and in certain cases, ITAR requirements._**
