About the Role

As a Strategic Sustainability Leader, you will be responsible for:

  • M&A Pipeline Development: Identify and build a strong pipeline of potential M&A opportunities by researching market trends, engaging with industry stakeholders, and identifying strategic acquisition targets.
  • Market Visibility & Networking: Act as the face of ABB Motion Canada by representing the company at key industry events, conferences, and trade associations, establishing ABB as a thought leader in electrification, automation, and sustainability.
  • Sustainability Advocacy: Promote ABB's sustainability vision by integrating eco-friendly practices into business strategies, product offerings, and market positioning.

You will work closely with our corporate development team to provide local insights that guide the M&A screening and evaluation processes. You will also engage in C-level discussions with industry leaders, customers, and partners to create opportunities for strategic collaboration and to showcase ABB's innovative solutions.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 7+ years of experience in business development, with a focus on M&A pipeline creation, sustainability initiatives, and market expansion.
  • Strong networking and relationship-building skills, with proven experience in C-level discussions and industry events.
  • Knowledge of sustainability practices within industrial, electrification, or automation sectors.
  • Ability to represent a company in high-profile public and private settings, promoting both business and sustainability objectives.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary of $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits including retirement plan, accident insurance, healthcare plan, and wellbeing program.
