The City of Richmond Hill is seeking a highly skilled Corporate Governance and Executive Support Specialist to provide comprehensive executive-level support to the CEO.

Job Overview

This dynamic role requires the ability to anticipate needs, maintain confidentiality, and provide exceptional organizational and time management skills in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Execute administrative tasks that facilitate the CEO's ability to lead the organization, including coordinating meetings, managing calendars, and responding to correspondence.
  • Support the CEO in their role as Board Secretary, managing Board meeting logistics, developing agendas, and recording minutes.
  • Assist with content development related to the CEO Office, tracking Library Policies, summarizing topics, and preparing reports.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for the CEO Office, ensuring smooth communication and participating in staff initiatives.

The ideal candidate will possess significant experience in executive support or program coordination, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage confidential information.

Requirements:
  • University degree in governance or a related field.
  • Minimum 6 years of recent or relevant experience.
  • Significant executive support or program coordination experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven ability to maintain integrity and discretion with confidential information.

This position offers a competitive salary range of $82,931.00 - $96,990.00 annually, making it an attractive opportunity for individuals seeking a challenging and rewarding career in corporate governance and executive support.
