About the Role:
The Association of Academic Museums & Galleries seeks an experienced and results-driven Executive Director of Institutional Advancement to lead our philanthropic efforts. As a key member of our senior leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive fundraising strategy to support our mission.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a strategic fundraising plan to secure major gifts, grants, and other forms of support
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including donors, alumni, and community leaders
- Collaborate with our senior team to identify and pursue new funding opportunities
- Manage a team of development professionals to achieve fundraising goals
- Develop and implement a comprehensive stewardship program to recognize and engage our donors
Requirements:
- Proven track record of success in fundraising and development, with a minimum of 5 years of experience
- Strong relationships with key stakeholders, including donors, alumni, and community leaders
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to think strategically and develop effective fundraising plans
- Experience managing a team of development professionals
What We Offer:
- A competitive salary range of $380,000 – $420,000 CAD
