Executive Director

Hillel Montreal is seeking a visionary and collaborative leader to serve as its Executive Director. As the ideal candidate, you will possess a deep understanding of Jewish education and a strong sense of peoplehood.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with Federation CJA and other community organizations to advance Hillel's mission
- Lead and motivate a team of professionals to achieve organizational goals
- Develop and cultivate key relationships on campus, including with administration, faculty, and staff
- Support efforts to engage and foster leadership development opportunities for young adults
- Lead Hillel's fundraising efforts to ensure fiscal viability
- Work collaboratively with a lay committee to fulfill the organization's mission
- Attract and retain strong, mission-aligned students and provide them with the tools to lead and become future leaders in the community
- A bachelor's degree and 4+ years of professional work experience, with at least 2 years in a senior management position
- Ability to relate well to university-age students, both undergraduate and postgraduate
- Fundraising and financial management experience
- Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills
- Strong organizational, administrative, and communication skills
- A competitive salary in the non-profit marketplace, with a range of $125,000-$175,000 CAD, depending on experience
