Supply Chain Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Specialist to join our team at Bombardier Transportation GmbH. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic sourcing initiatives to drive cost savings and improve supply chain efficiency.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement procurement strategies to meet business objectives
- Lead and participate in the development of commodity strategies, including the preparation of business cases
- Manage projects to identify, analyze, and realize cost reduction opportunities
- Develop and maintain formal networks with suppliers and internal stakeholders
- Act as a single interface with suppliers for new business opportunities
- Support sites and business units with sourcing strategies and negotiations
- Coordinate and lead negotiations with suppliers to resolve production issues
- Support business units in the application of contractual remedies against material breaches
- Lead contract negotiations with suppliers and ensure contracts are maintained in accordance with business requirements
- Coordinate procurement activities to achieve balanced scorecard objectives, master plans, and detailed plans
- Bachelor's degree in business administration or equivalent
- 7-10 years of relevant experience in procurement, supply chain, or a related field
- Experience in the aerospace industry and/or manufacturing environment is an asset
- Excellent negotiation and project management skills
- Detail-oriented, focused, and committed to meeting deadlines
- Strong team player with leadership and innovation skills
- High proficiency in French and English (written and spoken)
- Strong capabilities in operations and financial management
- Comfortable with complex technical topics and knowledge of legal terminology or contract interpretation
- Familiarity with Just-In-Time purchasing logistics, integrated supply chain, and lean manufacturing concepts
- Proficient in MS Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Outlook
