About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Supply Chain Manager to lead and manage key aspects of our product and non-product supply chain. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing supply chain business models to support organizational requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, design, and implement supply chain business models to support organizational requirements
  • Lead and coordinate the day-to-day execution and long-term strategic vision & activities of the supply chain, procurement, logistics and sub-contracting functions
  • Direct and manage the delivery of products and services from external suppliers, including all raw materials and finished parts, equipment, commodities and subcontractors
  • Build relationships at executive level with suppliers to ensure that problems, issues and improvement opportunities are addressed in a timely and effective manner
  • Oversee all logistics activities, including inbound receipt, storage, kitting and parts distribution within the production facility
  • Develop and implement supply chain systems, policies and procedures that drive a thorough supplier selection process, supplier development and performance as well as establish timely supplier evaluation and feedback to ensure continuous improvement throughout the supply chain
  • Develop and manage all key performance indicators related to supply chain, procurement, logistics and sub-contract management performance and inventory
  • Be accountable for inventory level and product cost tracking and work in collaboration with Finance and IPGs to improve these metrics
  • Actively support implementation of new ERP system (and peripheral systems) for all aspects related to supply chain and logistics
  • Continually assess supply and delivery risks and build appropriate mitigation strategies and contingency plans
  • Manage activities of staff including goal setting, performance evaluations, development plans, succession planning, compensation, and time management
  • Ensure the team's skill sets meet current and future demands by providing regular feedback and coaching
Requirements
  • A minimum of 12-15 years of relevant experience
  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business, finance, industrial engineering, related discipline, or equivalent experience
  • Knowledge of the electronic industry, procurement of components, assemblies, and contract manufacturing
  • Excellent business acumen, financial analysis and IT skills
  • Solid understanding and experience with ERP systems
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced and diverse business
  • Exceptional communications skills with an innate ability to impact and influence people
  • Understanding of international standards
  • Technical background in engineering or computer science considered an asset
  • Manufacturing experience or knowledge considered an asset
  • Fluent in French and English, both verbal and written
