About the Role

We are seeking a highly qualified Medical Director to lead our Division of Diagnostic and Molecular Pathology at The Ottawa Hospital. This is a joint position with The University of Ottawa, requiring strong leadership skills and expertise in clinical service and academic mandate.

Job Description
  • Provide leadership for the Division of Diagnostic and Molecular Pathology, working collaboratively with stakeholders to achieve strategic goals.
  • Participate in the Anatomical Pathology service at TOH and contribute to the academic mission of TOH and the University of Ottawa.
  • Support research opportunities through The Ottawa Hospital Research Institute and the University of Ottawa Research Network.
Requirements
  • Fellowship in Diagnostic and Molecular Pathology with the Royal College of Physicians & Surgeons of Canada.
  • MD degree and licensure in the province of Ontario.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with diverse individuals and teams.
  • Written and oral French language skills an asset.
