Job Title: Head of Credit

We're seeking an experienced and strategic leader to own our credit products and drive growth, profitability, and customer satisfaction. As the Head of Credit, you'll work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and execute a go-to-market strategy that aligns with our company's goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the credit business, including sales, marketing, underwriting, customer service, and collections.
  • Develop business strategies to drive growth, profitability, and competitive success for our credit products.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to bring credit products to market and ensure alignment with our company's goals.
  • Drive credit decisioning best practices and develop business-specific models, policies, and strategies to optimize performance.
  • Develop and implement a multi-year learning agenda across consumer research, analysis, and in-market testing.
  • Identify emerging trends, risks, and marketplace developments, and develop recommendations to respond accordingly.
  • Establish strong relationships with credit partners and ensure feedback loops are executed to turn performance insights into actions.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience as a business manager owning the P&L of credit or lending products.
  • 2+ years of experience at a fintech, ideally in a credit role.
  • Proven experience in consumer credit risk management, including exposure to many or all segments of the lending lifecycle.
  • Experience in developing monitoring and reporting that enables efficient tracking and managing of lending portfolios.
  • Experience utilizing alternative data approaches to develop rigorous frameworks to support credit decisions, predict risk, and forecast credit performance.
  • Proven track record of contributing to revenue growth and surpassing objectives in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with external partners.
  • Strong business sense and leadership experience.
