Senior Child Protection Liaison Coordinator

This exciting opportunity is available with the Government of Saskatchewan, working within the Social Services Ministry. As a Senior Child Protection Liaison Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the well-being and safety of vulnerable children.
About the RoleThis position involves working closely with various stakeholders to develop and implement effective strategies for child protection. You will be responsible for building relationships with community partners, government agencies, and other key organizations to enhance support services for at-risk children.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain strong relationships with community partners, government agencies, and other key organizations to ensure collaborative efforts in supporting at-risk children.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of policies, procedures, and programs aimed at enhancing child protection services.
- Provide guidance and support to staff members on child protection-related matters, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Analyze data and reports to identify trends and areas for improvement, informing strategic decisions to optimize child protection outcomes.
- A degree in Social Work, Child and Youth Care, or a related field.
- Proven experience working in child protection, preferably in a leadership or advisory capacity.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and inform strategic decisions.
