Senior Client Manager, Commercial Lines

We are seeking an experienced Senior Client Manager, Commercial Lines to join our team at Jones DesLauriers Insurance Management Inc. This role requires a knowledgeable expert advisor in commercial insurance lines of business who can manage a book of business, service clients in a courteous and professional manner, and assist the producer in obtaining, maintaining, and expanding business.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage a renewal book of business and work closely with producers and other staff on client service, marketing, and renewal.
- Maintain a persistently high-level retention rate on your book of business and set clear expectations for clients and business partners.
- Develop new business from existing accounts and assigned leads, and contribute to meeting departmental production goals.
- Prepare proposals for prospect and stewardship reviews for existing clients, and manage account documentation.
- Review client's current coverage and exposures, loss experience, and analyze risk to determine product/service requirements.
- Participate actively in cross-sell campaigns and other initiatives as required.
- Minimum 10 years of commercial insurance experience required.
- R.I.B.O. license required.
- C.I.P. or C.A.I.B. designation(s) preferred.
- Solid understanding of policy wordings/coverages.
- Ability to mentor others and proven negotiation skills.
- Strong attention to detail, time management, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Ability to be a self-starter with strong written and oral communication skills as well as organizational skills.
