About the Role

GGB - Global is seeking a highly skilled Commercial Lines Broker to join our team. As a Commercial Lines Broker, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to clients, handling client file activities, and maintaining retention targets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide outstanding day-to-day service to clients and handle client file activities to maintain retention targets
  • Acquire expiry dates at time of policy renewal and dig into leads to place new business
  • Attain premium growth targets by cross-selling, up-selling appropriate coverages, and new business
  • Binds accounts/coverage with insurer
  • Maintain professional relationships with key underwriters to ensure maximization of new business growth and retention opportunities
About You
  • 5+ years commercial lines insurance experience with a focus on mid-market
  • Experience within manufacturing, construction, E&O, and D&O, large auto fleets, and other lines of commercial insurance
  • Valid RIBO license is required or willingness to acquire within 3 months
  • CIP, FCIP, or CAIB designation or working towards completion is considered an asset
  • Strong analytical, organization, and time management skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Ability to adapt to and work collaboratively with various individuals
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products and experience with broker management systems like EPIC and rating engines is an asset
