Key Responsibilities- Provide administrative support to the Superintendent of Equity, Diversity, Inclusion, Indigenous Education and Community Relations and the Superintendent of Mathematics Curriculum & Innovation.

- Oversee divisional administrative processes, including staffing, scheduling, and delegation of workload.
- Assist in the preparation and monitoring of departmental budgets and prepare cheque requisitions.
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive departmental materials and records.
- Develop and implement new tools and methods to improve administrative practices and processes.
- Facilitate effective communication between internal departments and external stakeholders, including the Ministry of Education and community advocacy groups.
- Prepare correspondence, including Board reports, minutes, and agendas.
- Record meeting minutes and collaborate with other administrative assistants to support initiatives and programs.
- Respond to enquiries from parents, schools, and other stakeholders in accordance with established procedures and guidelines.
- Minimum 2-year College Diploma in Office Administration program.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a senior administrative support role.
- Experience working collaboratively with multiple stakeholders, including internal and external parties.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites.
- Proven expertise in responding to and facilitating sensitive and confidential matters.
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, with a high level of diplomacy and confidentiality.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks, deadlines, and interruptions.
- Availability and flexibility to work outside core office hours as required.
- Experience with SAP and E-Scribe is an asset.
- Experience working in an equity, inclusion, and human rights environment is an asset.
This is a non-union Level 10 position with a salary range of $69,305 - $85,266, along with comprehensive benefits, including eligibility for a pension plan and vacation.
