Job SummaryWe're seeking a skilled IT Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our technical services team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support to our clients, ensuring their IT infrastructure runs smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities- Provide technical support to clients, including troubleshooting and resolving issues with computer systems, networks, and software.
- Perform technical assessments and document systems for new and existing clients.
- Track and resolve support requests through effective decision-making and problem-solving skills.
- Manage projects, such as building and deploying physical and virtual servers and IP telephony systems.
- Perform proactive preventative maintenance tasks on computers, servers, network infrastructure, etc.
- Continually educate yourself through our career program on technology and IT security.
- 1+ years' technical experience in the support of information technology solutions.
- Rudimentary knowledge of Microsoft desktop operating systems and Office suites / 365.
- Rudimentary understanding of networking technology and theory.
- A valid Class G driver's license and vehicle for travel throughout the National Capital Region.
- Full COVID-19 vaccination.
- Experience in the following are considered a strong asset: Microsoft server operating systems from 2012R2 and higher, Exchange, SQL, SharePoint, Active Directory, Group Policy, remote desktop services, virtualization, etc.
- Virtualization deployments (Hyper-V / VMWare).
- Installation and support of data backup systems, AV platforms, etc.
