Join Our Team as a Technical IT Support Specialist

DigiVie is a leading IT solutions provider in the National Capital Region, and we're looking for a skilled Technical IT Support Specialist to join our team.

About the Role:

We're seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to provide technical support and services to our clients. As a Technical IT Support Specialist, you will be responsible for:

  • Supporting existing clientele and their IT infrastructure
  • Performing technical assessments and documenting systems for new and existing clients
  • Tracking and resolving support requests through effective decision making and problem solving skills
  • Managing projects, such as building and deploying physical and virtual servers and IP telephony systems
  • Performing proactive preventative maintenance tasks on computers, servers, network infrastructure, etc
  • Continually educating yourself through our career program on technology and IT security

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 1+ years' technical experience in the support of information technology solutions
  • Rudimentary knowledge of Microsoft desktop operating systems and Office suites / 365
  • Rudimentary understanding of networking technology and theory
  • A valid Class G driver's license and vehicle for travel throughout the National Capital Region
  • Full COVID-19 vaccination

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in the following areas is considered a strong asset:

  • Microsoft server operating systems from 2012R2 and higher, Exchange, SQL, SharePoint, Active Directory, Group Policy, remote desktop services, virtualization, etc
  • Virtualization deployments (Hyper-V / VMWare)
  • Installation and support of data backup systems, AV platforms, etc
