At Amazon Advertising Canada Inc., we're looking for a skilled professional to join our team as a Senior Business Development Manager. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth and expanding our customer base.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in B2B sales, with experience in account management and selling digital media. You will be responsible for prospecting, penetrating, and developing executive-level relationships with clients, as well as retaining and growing revenue from existing advertisers.

We're looking for someone who is a strategic thinker, with excellent influencing and relationship-building skills. You will be responsible for leading with data to drive sales and customer service, and for utilizing sales CRM tools to measure progress against pertinent sales activities and opportunities.

As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with a variety of clients, from small-to-medium brands to performance advertisers. You will be responsible for creating and executing advertising plans that meet the needs of our clients, and for collaborating cross-functionally to drive business results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prospect, penetrate, and develop executive-level relationships with clients
  • Retain and grow revenue from existing advertisers
  • Drive deals to closure in a new business environment
  • Lead with data to drive sales and customer service
  • Utilize sales CRM tools to measure progress against pertinent sales activities and opportunities
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to create and execute advertising plans

Basic Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of B2B sales experience
  • Experience with sales CRM tools such as Salesforce or similar software
  • Experience in account management and selling digital media

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience consistently closing sales and generating revenues
  • Experience of high-level negotiation and successful internal and external relationship management
