About Us:

We are a leading food manufacturer looking for an experienced administrative supervisor to oversee our office operations. As an integral part of our team, you will be responsible for implementing new administrative procedures, reviewing and evaluating existing ones, and delegating tasks to office support staff.

Responsibilities:

  • Implement new administrative procedures: Develop and implement efficient systems to streamline office processes.
  • Review and evaluate existing procedures: Analyze current systems and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Delegate tasks to office support staff: Supervise and train staff to ensure they understand their roles and responsibilities.
  • Establish work priorities and ensure deadlines are met: Manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously to meet deadlines.
  • Carry out administrative activities: Perform a range of administrative tasks, including data entry, record-keeping, and correspondence.
  • Co-ordinate office services: Arrange for office supplies, equipment, and maintenance as needed.
  • Assist in budget preparation: Contribute to the development of the annual operating budget.
  • Perform data analysis and reporting: Gather and analyze data to prepare reports and manuals.
  • Train staff: Provide training and guidance to employees to help them develop their skills.
  • Oversee payroll administration: Ensure accurate and timely payment of employee salaries and benefits.
  • Plan and control budget and expenditures: Monitor and manage departmental budgets to ensure efficient use of resources.

Requirements:

  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years in an administrative or supervisory role.
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Skills: Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Language: Fluency in English is required.
