About the Opportunity

The Department of Laboratory Medicine and Pathobiology at the University of Toronto is seeking a highly skilled Academic Pathologist to join our team as an Endocrine Pathology Specialist. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented individual to contribute to the advancement of medical knowledge and patient care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in diagnostic services for the University Health Network and its client facilities
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of research projects in Endocrine Pathology
  • Teach and mentor students, residents, and fellows in the field of Anatomic Pathology
  • Collaborate with other pathologists and healthcare professionals to improve patient outcomes

Requirements

  • Medical degree and certification in Anatomic Pathology from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada or equivalent
  • Eligibility for registration with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario
  • Sub-specialty fellowship in Lung/Thoracic Pathology is encouraged
