Opportunity for Academic Excellence

The Department of Laboratory Medicine and Pathobiology at the University of Toronto is seeking a distinguished academic pathologist to join our team. As a leading institution in medical education and research, we are committed to fostering excellence in Endocrine Pathology practice, teaching, and research.

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in general frozen sections and/or autopsy
  • Contribute to diagnostic service for the University Health Network and its client facilities
  • Engage in collaborative or independent research and publish scholarly work
  • Teach and educate undergraduate, post-graduate, fellowship, and continuing education programs

Requirements

The successful candidate must hold a medical degree, certification in Anatomical Pathology from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada or its equivalent, and be eligible for registration with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario. Sub-specialty fellowship in Lung/Thoracic Pathology is encouraged.
