The Cap-Acp Laboratory Medicine Program is in search of an Anatomical Pathologist with specialized training and experience in Lung/Thoracic Pathology. A background in Cardiac Pathology is considered an advantage.

The ideal candidate will exhibit outstanding capabilities in clinical practice, research, and educational endeavors within the realm of lung/thoracic pathology.

Joining a team of specialized pathologists, the successful applicant will be part of a prominent academic laboratory medicine program.

This program provides a broad spectrum of diagnostic expertise, exceptional teaching opportunities, and engaging basic and clinical research initiatives.

Applicants must possess or be eligible for licensure in Ontario and hold a Fellowship in Anatomic Pathology from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, or an equivalent certification.

A Fellowship in Lung/Thoracic Pathology or substantial experience in this subspecialty is essential.

Key responsibilities will include engaging in diagnostic and consultation services for the program and its associated facilities in Lung/Thoracic Pathology and Autopsy Pathology, alongside self-directed and collaborative research and educational activities.

The successful candidate should qualify for an academic appointment in the Department of Laboratory Medicine and Pathobiology, with a rank that reflects their academic credentials.
