Job Title: Associate Director, Research and Investigations

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Associate Director to join our team in Toronto. As a key member of our Business Intelligence North America (BINA) team, you will be responsible for leading complex investigative projects, managing teams of researchers, and developing business development strategies to drive growth and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and execute high-level investigative projects, utilizing proprietary and specialist databases, online public records, and open sources.
  • Lead teams of researchers, providing guidance, support, and feedback to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Develop and implement business development strategies to expand existing client relationships and develop new business opportunities.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across the organization to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging risks to ensure our services remain relevant and effective.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in corporate intelligence, investigations, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of leading teams and managing complex projects.
  • Strong business development skills, with a focus on expanding existing client relationships and developing new business opportunities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues, clients, and stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to distill complex information into concise narratives.
