Job Title: Associate Director, Research and Investigations

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Associate Director to join our team in Toronto. As a key member of our Business Intelligence and Compliance team, you will be responsible for leading complex investigative projects, managing teams of researchers, and developing business development strategies to drive growth and revenue.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and execute high-level investigative projects, utilizing proprietary databases, online public records, and open sources to deliver tailored solutions to clients.
  • Lead teams of researchers, providing guidance, support, and feedback to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Develop and implement business development strategies to expand existing client relationships and identify new business opportunities.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across the organization to drive growth and revenue, and contribute to the development of best-in-class research techniques and methodologies.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in the corporate intelligence industry, with a proven track record of managing teams and delivering complex projects.
  • Extensive experience with US and Canadian public records, including media and litigation databases, and online search tools.
  • Strong knowledge of the Canadian legal system and regulatory environment, as well as business and politics.
  • Demonstrated experience with corporate intelligence and compliance, with a strong understanding of research techniques, databases, networks, and online archives.
