Job Title: Associate Director, Research and Investigations

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Associate Director to join our team in Toronto. As a key member of our Business Intelligence and Compliance team, you will be responsible for leading complex investigative projects, managing teams of researchers, and developing business development strategies to drive growth and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and execute high-level investigative projects, utilizing proprietary databases, online public records, and open sources to deliver tailored solutions to clients.
  • Lead teams of researchers, providing guidance, support, and feedback to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Develop and implement business development strategies to expand existing client relationships and identify new business opportunities.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across the organization to drive growth, profitability, and excellence in research and intelligence.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in corporate intelligence, investigations, or a related field, with a proven track record of success in business development and team leadership.
  • Extensive knowledge of US and Canadian public records, including media and litigation databases, and online search tools.
  • Strong understanding of the Canadian legal system and regulatory environment, with the ability to analyze complex information and distill it into concise narratives.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
