Food Service Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Kenora Travelodge. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of service and quality in our food and beverage operations.
Key Responsibilities:- Leadership and Supervision: Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that work schedules are met and quality standards are maintained.
- Food and Beverage Operations: Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
- Reporting and Administration: Prepare and submit reports, and maintain accurate records of inventory, sales, and customer feedback.
- Teamwork and Communication: Foster a positive and inclusive work environment, promoting teamwork and open communication among staff members.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: Will train.
- Work Setting: Restaurant, hotel, motel, or resort environment.
- Security and Safety: Criminal record check required.
- Transportation/Travel Information: Public transportation available.
- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, tight deadlines, and a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
- Personal Suitability: Client focus, flexibility, team player, initiative, and dependability.
- Relocation Costs: Covered by employer.
- Relocation: Willing to relocate.
- Work Term: Permanent.
- Work Language: English.
- Hours: 40 hours per week.
