Job Summary

Nagoya Sushi is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sushi Chef to join our team. As a Sushi Chef, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality sushi dishes, maintaining inventory and records of food and supplies, and managing kitchen operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to meet the highest standards of quality and presentation.
  • Maintain accurate records of food, supplies, and equipment to ensure efficient inventory management and minimize waste.
  • Manage kitchen operations, including cleaning, organization, and maintenance of kitchen facilities.
Requirements
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a fast-paced culinary environment.
  • Demonstrated expertise in preparation and presentation of sushi dishes.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment and lift heavy loads.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and cleanliness.
