Sushi Chef and Kitchen Manager

We are seeking a skilled Sushi Chef and Kitchen Manager to join our team at Sushi U-Meno Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality sushi dishes while maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.
Key Responsibilities- Cooking and Preparation: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, adhering to our quality standards.
- Kitchen Maintenance: Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure they meet our hygiene and safety standards.
- Training and Supervision: Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, as well as supervise kitchen staff and helpers.
- Inventory Management: Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment, ensuring that we always have the necessary resources on hand.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A secondary (high) school graduation certificate;
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar position;
- Flexibility, organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment;
- The physical capability to handle heavy loads, stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive tasks.
We offer a competitive salary range of $50,000 - $65,000 per annum, depending on your level of experience. Additionally, you can expect:
