About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Corporate Communications Director to join our team at Hyundai Canada. In this critical role, you will be responsible for enhancing and protecting the public image of our company, both internally and externally.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage corporate PR outreach functions and projects through a dedicated team of direct reports and agency resources.
  • Develop and execute new corporate public relations plans showcasing Hyundai Auto Canada Corp, its executives, and employees.
  • Crisis management communications lead in partnership with Legal.

The ideal candidate will possess 8-10 years of relevant experience in the same or similar positions. They must also have a strong understanding of Canadian and global media trends, as well as Public Relations best practices.

Requirements:
  • 8-10 years of relevant experience in the same or similar positions.
  • Completion of an undergraduate degree, or an equivalent combination of experience and education.
  • Exemplary oral and written communications skills.
  • Knowledge of Canadian and global media and trends.
