Job Summary

The Director of Marketing will be responsible for leading the development and execution of the company's marketing strategy to achieve business objectives. This includes field marketing, corporate communications, and overall responsibility for the marketing budget.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Drive pipeline growth through marketing activities and generate qualified leads.
  2. Have direct responsibility for communication to customers, partners, analysts, press, and other stakeholders.
  3. Position the company as a market leader through messaging and programs.
  4. Own the corporate messaging and brand value in designated marketplaces.
  5. Work with sales and product management to plan and execute integrated marketing programs.
  6. Manage external vendors and coordinate with print and production agencies.
  7. Integrate programs into marketing and CRM systems, including lead tracking and reporting.
  8. Project manage large initiatives within the marketing organization.
  9. Build relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
  10. Track and report on marketing spending and business objectives.
Requirements
  1. Minimum eight years of experience in corporate marketing or agency marketing.
  2. Experience in database marketing, web seminar production, content generation, and strategic marketing planning.
  3. Strong project management skills and experience working with product management, sales, customers, and partners.
  4. Familiarity with CRM and marketing automation systems, preferably Salesforce and Marketo.
  5. Demonstrated business acumen and a solid reputation as a key contributor to operational excellence.
  6. Experience in an enterprise-wide software development environment is preferred.
  7. Excellent communication and PC skills, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  8. Bachelor's degree and an MBA are preferred.
