Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience and location.

About the Role


The Strategic Communications Manager will report directly to the ISG Director of Global Communications and be responsible for developing and implementing communication strategies that resonate within the technology sector.



Main Responsibilities:



  • Build and maintain relationships with technology partners, industry analyst groups, and regulatory bodies, acting as a primary contact for industry associations and standard-setting organizations.
  • Develop and implement communication strategies that address technological advancements, regulatory changes, and industry trends, managing and communicating business unit results, strategy, and plans within the business unit and in collaboration with the corporate strategy and investor relations organization.
  • Rapidly generate high-quality content, including quarterly earnings documents, interim and annual reports, scripts, emails, and newsletters to provide corporate transparency to investors and employees, complying with Hong Kong Stock Exchange regulations and internal requirements for company information disclosure.
  • Analyze shareholder composition and activities, monitoring company stock price changes and preparing updates for the shareholders, the board of directors, etc.
  • Prepare speeches and presentations for industry conferences and events, collaborating with internal teams to ensure alignment of communication efforts with business and technological objectives.
  • Monitor and analyze technological trends, market developments, and competitor activities, providing insights and reports to inform strategic decisions and identify opportunities.
  • Organize various investor roadshows, analyst meetings, and large-scale visit events, actively collaborating with China IR personnel to develop events, timely communicating with shareholders and potential investors to continuously increase the company's market value.
  • Cordainate internal and external communication efforts for product launches and major announcements, working closely with R&D, product development, legal, and marketing teams to ensure alignment and consistent messaging.


Key Skills and Qualifications:



  • Deep knowledge of the technology sector, including emerging trends, technologies, and regulatory landscape.
  • Strong ability to convey complex technical information in a clear and engaging manner.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with industry stakeholders and regulatory bodies.
  • Capable of developing and executing strategic communication plans tailored to the tech industry.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tech-related projects.
  • Ability to conduct in-depth analysis of tech trends and provide actionable insights.


Requirements:



  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field. A degree in a technology-related field is a plus.
  • 8+ years of experience in industry relations, communications, or a related role within the technology sector.
  • Strong understanding of the technology industry and regulatory environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information clearly.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with industry stakeholders and regulatory bodies.
  • Experience in crisis communication and management within the tech industry.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
