English and Indigenous Literatures Professor Position
First Nations University of Canada seeks a dedicated academic to teach English and Indigenous Literatures. The successful candidate will have expertise in Indigenous protocols and a strong commitment to community service.
Key Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will instruct introductory and senior undergraduate courses in English and Indigenous Literatures from an Indigenous perspective.
Requirements:
A PhD in English with a focus on Indigenous literatures and creative writing is required. The candidate should have an established teaching record, experience working with Indigenous communities, and the ability to speak a First Nations language.
