Job Summary

The President of Luther College will provide strategic leadership and vision for the institution, fostering a culture of academic excellence, innovation, and community engagement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a strategic plan to drive growth, innovation, and excellence in academic programs and operations
  • Foster strong relationships with alumni, donors, government, external partners, and the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Canada
  • Ensure academic programs respond to current educational needs and align with the College's mission, while modernizing operations and maintaining accreditation standards
  • Provide leadership and direction to the senior management team and faculty
  • Represent the College in a professional and diplomatic manner, promoting its values and mission
Requirements
  • PhD preferred, reflecting the high academic standards of the institution
  • Proven experience in financial management, strategic planning, and fundraising
  • Expertise in guiding complex organizations through periods of change while building cohesion
