Employment Navigator

We are seeking a highly skilled Employment Navigator to join our team at the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting nurses in managing and coordinating assessments, training, and registration requirements to achieve licensure and employment in the nursing field.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with nursing colleges, regulatory bodies, educational institutions, and stakeholder groups to provide support and guidance to nurses.
- Assist nurses in navigating complex systems and processes to achieve licensure and employment.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Provide education and training to nurses on relevant topics, such as licensure requirements and career development.
- Conduct assessments and provide recommendations to nurses on their career development and employment opportunities.
- Graduate of an approved nursing education program.
- Experience working as a registered nurse in the province of Manitoba preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
The successful candidate will work in an environmentally controlled office environment and will be required to have a valid Manitoba driver's license and use of a personal motor vehicle.
