Key Responsibilities- Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy, navigating through various road conditions and weather conditions.
- Load and unload goods, adhering to safety protocols and regulations.
- Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, ensuring compliance with traffic laws and regulations.
- Perform brake adjustments, emergency roadside repairs, and pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and efficiency.
- Perform preventive maintenance, adhering to manufacturer's guidelines and company policies.
- Hold a valid Driver's License (Class 1 or A) and possess a basic security clearance.
- Operate GPS and other navigation equipment, maintaining accurate records and reports.
- Participate in regular safety meetings and training sessions to enhance driving skills and knowledge.
- 1 to less than 7 months of experience as a truck driver.
- Permanent employment with a minimum of 40 to 50 hours per week.
- Fluency in English as the primary language of communication.
