Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Employment Navigator to join our team at Shared Health. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting nurses in managing and coordinating assessments, training, and registration requirements to achieve licensure, leading to employment in the nursing field.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with nursing colleges, regulatory bodies, educational institutions, and stakeholder groups to provide guidance and support to nurses.
  • Assist nurses in navigating complex systems and processes to achieve licensure and employment.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Provide excellent customer service and support to nurses, responding to their needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an approved nursing education program required.
  • Experience working as a registered nurse in the province of Manitoba preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
  • Ability to navigate through challenges while maintaining accountability within set requirements.
