As a Community Occupational Therapist, you will work with a diverse group of funders to assist clients with various limitations. You can customize health populations and case mix based on your interest and experience. Your duties will include functional assessments, job site visits, and developing graduated activity and return-to-work plans. You will also liaise with clients' healthcare teams and payer representatives.
To succeed in this role, you should have excellent communication skills, strong organizational skills, and attention to detail. A reliable vehicle for clinical appointments is also necessary. Experience working with agency payers is a significant asset, as is a commitment to continuous learning through professional development courses. Current membership with COTBC or eligibility for registration is required.
This part-time position offers a salary of $60-$78.60 per hour. Benefits include casual dress, company events, flexible scheduling, and work-from-home arrangements. The schedule is Monday to Friday.
