Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced occupational therapist to join our team in the Fraser Valley region. As a Community Occupational Therapist, you will work with a diverse group of clients, assessing their needs and developing personalized plans to help them achieve their goals. You will have the opportunity to work with various populations, including children, adults, and seniors, addressing a range of limitations and health conditions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct functional assessments to identify client needs and develop graduated activity plans to promote independence
  • Liaise with clients' healthcare teams and payer representatives to ensure seamless delivery of care
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share knowledge and best practices, enhancing the overall quality of service
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will possess excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as a strong ability to work independently and as part of a team. A reliable vehicle is required for clinical appointments. Experience working with agency payers is an asset. A commitment to ongoing learning and professional development is essential for success in this position.
