About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to join our team of dedicated professionals who are passionate about providing exceptional care. As a Community Rehabilitation Specialist, you'll work closely with our interdisciplinary team to provide direct and indirect rehabilitation services to clients in the community.
- Assess client needs and develop individualized rehabilitation plans in collaboration with clients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Provide direct and indirect intervention services to support clients in achieving their goals, including life skills education, employment, and leisure activities.
- Consult with community agencies to ensure seamless care coordination and effective service delivery.
- Participate in interdisciplinary meetings and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- A Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited university.
- Two years' recent experience working with psychiatric clients in an acute or community psychiatric setting.
- Current full registration with the College of Occupational Therapists of British Columbia (COTBC).
- Eligibility for membership in the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists - British Columbia (CAOT-BC).
- A valid B.C. Driver's License and access to a personal vehicle for business use.
We offer a competitive salary range of CAD $42.56 - $52.95 per hour, depending on your level of experience.
