About Kim's Kitchen

We are a dynamic and fast-paced restaurant looking for a skilled and experienced cook to join our team. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals and individual dishes, as well as training staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Cooking: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, ensuring high-quality standards and presentation.
  • Staff Training: Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment, ensuring efficient use of resources and minimizing waste.
  • Cleanliness and Safety: Clean kitchen and work areas, maintaining a safe and healthy environment for staff and customers.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Work Setting: Restaurant environment.
  • Physical Capabilities: Ability to handle heavy loads, work in a physically demanding environment, and stand for extended periods.
  • Personal Suitability: Dependability, flexibility, initiative, judgement, organized, reliability, and team player.
